Products & Descriptions; We aim to display our candles and related products as accurately as possible. However: Colours, scents, and textures may vary slightly due to the handmade nature of our products. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue products at any time without notice. All product descriptions, pricing, and availability are subject to change. 4. Orders & Payment; When you place an order: You agree that all information provided is correct. We may refuse or cancel an order if: Fraud or unauthorized activity is suspected or the product is unavailable. We may refuse or cancel an order if pricing or listing errors occur. Accepted payment methods include: credit/debit cards, PayPal. 5. Pricing & Taxes; All prices are listed in AUD unless otherwise stated. Prices may change without notice. Applicable taxes, duties, insurance & shipping fees will be calculated & confirmed prior to shipment of goods. 6. Shipping & Delivery; We ship within Australia (and internationally) & will obtain freight quotation for the orders weight, destination & insurance from Australia Post. This quotation is to be accepted & paid in advance before dispatch of goods. Shipping times are estimates only and not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services, customs, or unforeseen circumstances.

7. Safety & Usage; Our candles must be used responsibly. By purchasing, you agree to follow all safety instructions outlined in Candle Safety Guide, including but not limited to :

Never leaving a burning candle unattended.
Keeping candles away from children, pets, and flammable materials.
Trimming wicks before each use.

We are not liable for misuse of products or failure to follow safety guidelines.

Candle Safety Guide

Why Candle Safety Matters; Candles create warmth, ambience, and fragrance — but they also involve an open flame. Following proper safety guidelines protects your home, your belongings, and the people around you.

1. Before Lighting Your Candle

Trim the wick to 5mm before every burn. A long wick can cause high flames, soot, or uneven burning.
Check for debris such as matches, wick trimmings, or dust inside the wax pool.
Place the candle on a heat‑resistant surface away from edges, fabrics, and anything flammable.
Keep candles out of reach of children and pets.

2. While the Candle Is Burning

Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Burn for 2–4 hours at a time to allow an even melt pool and prevent tunnelling.
Keep the flame away from drafts (fans, air‑conditioning vents, open windows) to avoid uneven burning or flickering.
Do not move the candle while the wax is hot or the flame is lit.
Maintain space around the candle — at least 10cm from other objects or candles.

3. Extinguishing Your Candle

Use a snuffer or gently dip the wick into the melted wax and straighten it again. This reduces smoke and soot.
Avoid blowing out the candle, as this can cause splattering or smoke.
Ensure the wick is upright and centred after extinguishing.

4. After the Candle Has Cooled

Allow the wax to fully solidify before moving the candle.
Re‑trim the wick before the next use.
Check for soot buildup on the jar and clean gently if needed.

5. Burn Time & Candle Life

Stop burning when 10–12mm of wax remains at the bottom of the jar. Burning past this point can cause the container to overheat or crack.
Store candles in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight to preserve fragrance and colour.

6. Container & Surface Safety

Candle jars can become hot during use — handle with care.
Do not place candles directly on delicate furniture or surfaces that may scorch or stain.
Use a coaster, tray, or heat‑resistant mat for added protection.

7. Outdoor Candle Use

Keep candles sheltered from wind.
Never leave outdoor candles burning when you leave the area.
Ensure candles are placed on stable, level surfaces.

8. Special Notes for Scented Candles

Some fragrances may be stronger in smaller rooms — ventilate if needed.
If you experience headaches or sensitivity, extinguish the candle and allow the room to air out.

9. Safety for Households With Pets

Keep candles well out of reach of curious paws and wagging tails.
Avoid placing candles near shelves, windowsills, or areas pets can access.
Consider flameless options if your pets are particularly active.

10. General Fire Safety

Keep a working smoke alarm in your home.
Do not use candles during power outages as your primary light source — use torches or battery‑powered lanterns.
Never use a candle as a nightlight.
